| Description | The Work shall consist of:
1. Installing the permanent pumps in the shallow and deep well.
2. Design, preparation of shop drawings and fabrication drawings, overall
fabrication, shipping, onsite instruction of others on installation, onsite start-up, and onsite instruction of Owner’s personnel of the operation and maintenance of a horizontal pressure filtration, ion exchange water treatment system and associated control systems. Construct the proposed water treatment plant building and equipment foundations and underground piping. Install new horizontal pressure filter, ion exchange units and associated equipment, including the blower, air compressor and aeration equipment in the proposed filter building. Install new process piping as shown on the Drawings. Complete the required Electrical, Heating and Ventilation, Plumbing and Instrumentation and Control work as shown on the Drawings.
3. SCADA system to include, but not limited to the requirements specified in Sections 26 80 00, 26 90 00, 26 95 00. The intent of the new control system is
to provide for automatic operation of the East Dundee Water Treatment Plant and all its encompassing components with minimal operator certification.
